Mechanical keyboard under $60

via

I would like a solid mechanical keyboard under $60, cherry mx is not a must, any decent keyswitch would work. i like a mid-range keyswitch comparable to a mx brown. any suggestions would be great.

EVGA GTX 970 - i5 4460 - Enthoo Pro M

If you can go $75 then Thermaltake has a keyboard with Kilah switches.

He literally explicitly said MECHANICAL keyboard.

OP: save a bit more and get a CMStorm Quickfire.

I think your best bet will be a keyboard with ALPS Black/Green switches. ALPS Green are the closest to MX Browns, but are significantly louder.

The Ducky DK1087XM is the only keyboard that has this switch in this price range (I think), but Ducky boards are very reliable. It is also available in ALPS Black.

As for ALPS Black:

They are almost the same as ALPS Green, but they are linear, so no satisfying tactile bump. They are quiet switches though.

The keyboard has no numpad though, hopefully you don't mind.

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti
