Is it a good choose?

Go to solution Solved by VincentiusIV,

Judging from your current suggestion (budget wise) i came up with this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QXLwnQ

Hello I want to ask your opinions about this pc build which i think i will be making to change my pc which has a year now an a10-7850k kaveri build which i find very useful but it will be serving better as a steambox in my living room. so there it is :D

Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3Ghz
Asus Rampage V Extreme
Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2400 PC4-17000 16GB (4X4GB) CL15
WD 1TB Black Hard Drive
Corsair CS750M 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular
Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 GAMING 4GB GDDR5
NZXT H440 Mid Tower Black

and a 34uc97 as a screen because i like ultra wide and curved screens

tell me your opinions, will it bottleneck? i don't think so, I accept all sort of opinions.
btw I want some cooling suggestions

NZXT Kraken x61 for that CPU. I personally would go for a Gigabyte or MSI mobo. And I would upgrade on that GPU.

cut way back on the cpu, and that stuff, if you're only going to be gaming and such like that on it, an i5 4690K and z97 mobo is enough, then you can get a 970 or 980 instead of a 960.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

#1: What are you doing with this computer?

#2: Are you going/plan to overclock

#3: Do you care about the aesthetics of you build?

#1: my pc in most common use is to play games, but i do some programming and sometimes i host virtual machines on my computer to do web pages.

#2: I dont fell it is necessary since now I am using a kaveri and it is good enough but I want to feel that ultra in pure state.

#3: I dont really care about the aesthetics of my build the thing is that i see that case very cool... it doesn't mean that i have to use that one.

Forgot to ask, any specific budget in mind?

Here is my suggestion:

1. Downgrade that CPU to a 4670K or 4690K.

2. Downgrade Ram to DDR3 1600MHz, stick with 16gb of the stuff.

3. Downgrade the mobo to something that isn't overpriced simply because it has support for DDR4.

4. Get a SSD, even a small 64gb would do for your OS.

5. Pour the rest of your budget into the GPU, get something like the 290X or 980.

If you are going for gaming, you will get much better performance if you bump down the CPU and go with a GTX 970 or 980

Current Rig: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3, ASRock H97 Pro4 ATX mobo, 8GB 1600 MHz G.Skill Ripjaws, GTX 970, Corsair 550W, Kingston 120GB SSD & WD Black 1TB HDD, NZXT H440 Case.

why i5? pls explain :o

I7 is useless for gaming, it's about the GPU, a 980 with an i5 is better than 960 with i7

so should I get ddr3 ram to? or should i keep it like that?

If you go with the i5 4690K or an i7 4790K and a z97 board, then you will have to get ddr3 ram as ddr4 is only compatible with x99.

It looks nice, thanks

is it enoth to have 8gb of ram?

For gaming purposes it's more then enough. You can even upgrade to 16gb in the future if you happen to run out of memory space.
