I am trying to build a custom computer compatible with windows and os x. This is what i have so far. CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($189.99 @ Microcenter) 

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($19.99 @ Newegg) 
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI Mini ITX  LGA1155 Motherboard  ($109.99 @ Newegg) 
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($52.99 @ Newegg) 
Storage: Sandisk  128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk  ($89.99 @ Newegg) 
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($62.99 @ NCIX US) 
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB Video Card  ($179.99 @ Newegg)

Trying to not go any higher on the price. But will this work and be compatible with windows and os x. If so what could i upgrade/save money on by changing the parts. Thanks.

Maybe get a different cpu cooler. I own a Hyper 212 Plus it cools fairly well but it's very tall and the mounting broke.
