I'm currently testing out some of the options I found on Google. so far the one that works was disabling advance physx. And yes i did verify the cache. Had this prob on my laptop before and fixed it but the laptop fix did not fix the desktop prob....

I have to disable PhysX in order to play both Metro games, I couldn't even make it through the intro areas. I'm surprised that issue is affecting Titan X's, though, I thought it was mostly an issue with Kepler GPUs.

I don't have a fix, unfortunately. I think the issue even persisted for me through a system reformat and clean install of everything.

Wait nvdia physx or metros' advanced physx (the one located in game)? I'm not really sure if there is a difference though. And yeah it affects the titan X as well. I found some guy on tomshardware forum who had the same issue as me I think he said he fixed it with time. Same level as well.  Now still gaming with no problems. I hope.

Great game but with funky technical problems. If its not giving me a heart attack on 1440p 3D its giving me some problems to solve....

That's just what 4A decided to name it in the options menu. It's Nvidia PhysX. I think "PhysX" is a trademarked term, it can only refer to Nvidia's product.

It's a shame to have to turn it off—especially with your hardware—but the game is still amazing without it.
