Folding Rig

What is the most effecient PC build for folding under $1000?

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

not great because of cpu bottleneck. A decent gaming rig can also fold on the side, its what i do.

If u are willing to go up to the thousand mark you could switch the a8 for a 4690k or something similiar, and that would be a beast gaming rig aswellw

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

Is the dual R9 290 build better than a single 980?

FYI - you asked about a Folding rig - hence that build. If you want a BF4 gaming rig, that can also Fold, that is a different story altogether.

Purpose built Folding rigs are VERY purpose built. :)

For gaming, go with one r2 290 and then get a decent board and a nice core i5 chip.
