am i wrong or all it's sayng is that it actuaaly absorbs radio frequencies?

because , studyng phisics i understand that if you absorb smth it is no longer available and if you absorb the radio waves the phone uses, won't it be a kind of interference to the phone itself??? i am reeeeally sceptical about this

sorry for the spelling but i'm from itely heheh

"You might be skeptical about this kind of technology, but you should know that the co-founder of Nikola Labs, Dr. Rob Lee, is a well-respected, highly credible engineer — he’s a former chair of the Ohio State University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department"

Personally I don't think that the extra bulk that this case inherently adds, is worth the 30% longer battery life.

Heyyo,

Definitely a neat idea! But yeah, I'm concerned about the idea of it interfering with the cell frequencies... if it harvested FM radio frequencies? That would make more sense as that wouldn't affect the cell reception... but from what that description says? It harvests 3G and 4G LTE frequencies... hmm...

Well it probably just does it passively, probably using a similar principle to passively powered RFID tags.

Came for something else, but yeah I'm skeptical about that case too. I wouldn't be worried about interference as much as it just being a worthless accessory(they can make it to where it only receives certain frequencies, so WiFi, LTE, and the usual phone stuff could be exempt), since the energy received wouldn't be that much(making it pointless for its size). I can see a small battery bank or "Mophie" case being more effective.
