Graphics card?

I have a EVGA 750G2 PSU and I decided to play at 1080p. Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming, EVGA 970 SSC ACX, or MSI R9 290x Lightning. I will be buying one of these from newegg which one do you recommend? Not the asus strix please

I personally like GTX 970, GIGABYTE G1 Gaming, fast (can compete with 290X) with low TDP. It's up to you though, for "Raw" performance I'd say 290X.

But the 970s are kings of 1080p, not so much in higher resolutions...

I'd pick the G1 of the two 970s listed.

I have the opportunity to buy a R9 290x TRI-X after taxes for 330 dollars compared to the g1 at 450 dollars. Should I take it?
