How fast are those cheap USB flash drives (In MBps)?

I don't always use Vessel.... but when I do, it's because of Scrapyard Wars.

Varies. Some will be super slow, others decent.

All of them are cheap. Many medium priced(it's still cheap) flash drives have their speeds written in specification.

i like to buy usb3.0 cheaps. then i know it's at least 3.0

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I bought a kingston 8 gig flash drive cheap and it does like 3MBps if not less.Basically they can be very slow so if speed is a concern you probably want to spend more / research the speeds the one you want to buy.

With 2.0 the read is usually around 8-12mb/s from what i have seen, If you just want to put music and pictures on it you dont really need it to be faster.

I have some low quality ones and one 8gb Kingston DTSE9, The one from kingston has a read of about 20Mb/s
