Hi guy I was wondering if a one terabyte hd plus 480gb ssd would be enough too hold a large amount of films, games, photos and just files and stuff. I want to have loads of films stored on my computer and games also. will this be enough do you think? or should I go for a 2 terabyte drive?

thank you!

No point in putting films on an ssd as it's just a very fast way to use up the storage put them on a hdd it will work the same and be much cheaper.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

IF you do a lot of video storage, i would go 2TB.

Yeah 1TB isn't a lot these days, if you get GTA V that will take up a good chunk of that by itself. 2TB should meet your needs, but depends on how many films, and what quality you are storing them in. Of course as long as you case has spare HHD mounts you don't have to get all your storage at once if money is really tight.

Hey jamesfindlay3,

It really depends on how much data you are looking to store. You can fit movies, games and photos on a 500GB drive as well as fill a 200TB server with the same data, only larger amount of it.
Gaming benefits from SSD only for their loading times. If you can wait more on games to load, you can easily install them on a HDD.
I would suggest, getting a good SSD for your OS and most demanding applications and get a larger HDD for everything else that does not necessary need fast access times. :)
