So, for my current build I was going to invest in a GTX 970 graphics card specifically one from EVGA. I chose EVGA particularly because I don't like the way the Asus strix looks cheaply built, the gigabyte simply runs too loud and MSI doesn't match my color scheme. So my question is this, do EVGA's SC, SSC, FTW and FTW+ branding mean anything besides higher base clocks and higher boost clocks, or do they also mean better hardware to sustain or achieve higher over clocks?

Not really .

I THINK the cooler design is the same.

Maybe they bin the higher up cards.

The gtx 970 you want is this one , G1 gaming is the best 970.
