The more volts i give my cpu, the shorter is its lifespan, the more heat it gives and so on;

but do those effects just occur if i am not able to cool it atequate?

eg: If I volt my i7 5820K at 1.5V (its overkill i know) but it is at 30°C, will this still decrease its lifetime?

I would like to hear your opinion! :D

As long as temps are good go for it.. in my opinion, by the time that thing dies you'll probably be ready for a upgrade anyway :D

If you have overkill cooling, you can overclock and overvolt as high as you can - as long as you can keep it cool. I'm sure Linus mentions this in this video:

The most I would ABSOLUTELY recommend is 1.45v 24/7 1.5v is not worth the degradation that comes along with it.

1.5v will cause MASSIVE degredation down the road, 1.4v is what I'd do 24/7 on a 5820k.

Yeah, just an extreme example. The queation is, if it dies sooner, even though it is at 30°C

It will still shorten the life of the CPU. No matter the temps it will still cause what is known as degradation.
