So, I am planning to upgrade it to a standard where I can play some big games on medium settings, the first upgrade will be to buy a new motherboard with DDR3 Memory and able to install Windows 8 on it. Here are the upgraded future specs:

Seasonic 520W 80 Plus Bronze Certified PSU

MSI Radeon HD 7770 1GB Video Card

Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM

MSI 990XA-GD55 Motherboard

Stock CPU Heat Sink

2.5 Inch Memory Card Reader

Generic 5.1 Channel PCI Sound Card

Antec One Midi Tower Case

Windows 8 64-bit

If you have any suggestions of things to change then please do get in touch with me. I will post pictures as the build goes on :)

You really don't need a sound card on an MSI motherboard

6600K  |  16GB HYPERX  |  GTX1070 FE  |  Z170X-UD3  |  AIR540

Respect the past, Embrace the future.

I wasn't going to but because of the motherboard that it has in it at the moment has audio problems, I bought a cheap sound card so that it would actually play sounds and I just thought that I'd throw it into the finished build

Thanks for the feedback, I'll think about that, I was definitely considering the 7790 a while back but the price threw me a bit

May be you could throw in a Corsair H40. It looks good, performs great and it's relatively quiet.
