2015 gaming

Hello, I have a q8600 + 4gb ddr2 ram with a gtx750ti oc 2gb.
I want to upgrade my cpu, I live in Peru, which cpu should I pick if I want to game for at least 1 year more?

 

Athlon x4 860k = 105$

Fx 4300 = 115$

Fx 6300 = 140$

i3 4160 = 150$

i5 4460 = 250$

 

For this year should be enough 16gb ram? or pick a mobo where i can upgrade to 32gb?

Most played games: Rust, cs:go, Skyrim, Far Cry 4, L4D2 + mods, gmod

8GB RAM is plenty and please go with the i3, or you are going to have a baaad time

8GB is more than enough for gaming.

And if gaming is the main use of your rig, don't even think of going for an AMD cpu.

the i3 will still be a better CPU if you are playing online games

very weak IPC. i3 will still outperform it in just about every task you'll do.

Oh yea, most definitely.  And especially in gaming.  Not to mention, you have an upgrade path to an i5/i7/Xeon if you want.

 

Buy an i3-4130 + H81/B85 motherboard and 8GB of DDR3 RAM.

Go with FX 6300, you get so much for the money with it and its more than enough capable to handle 750 Ti.
