make sure your mobo is SLi ready

your PSU must have 800watts

SLi bridge installed

using latest driver

go to nVidia Control Panel and enable SLi

profit

800w ??

That sounds really high.

290x crossfire* only needs like 600w-700w.

(Maximum 700w)

@c0d0ps

that is CF and dual 290X eats up to 600 watts peak

700 may be fine if you dont OC

but usually i will suggest 850 as minimum for dual high end GPU

Minimum good quality 800w. A single R9 290X can pull almost 300w at times. And that's not even counting with OC headroom.

These sounds a lot for only 2 gpus ..

Do they really need all this power?

You can run like 3 980s of this I think.

the 980s may be Maxwell cards

but when OCed they still need a ton of power

the KingPin for example in LN2 mode need a beefy 1200 watts PSU just for 2 of them

So i currently have a 780ti with the costum asus cooler the direct cu2

Now i found someone that sells,an evga 780ti classified for a decent price, my question is will this two cards work together? Will i need to do something in order for them to work?

Yes but it will downscale to the slowest card so just overclock them to be the same speeds.
