Need build help

Hey forum please excuse me if this is in the wrong thread for I am new to forum based communication. Now on the topic that I need addressed. I am looking to build another PC primarily for gaming and video editing. I would love help from this great community to choose top of the line parts for my needs. Side note I would prefer all the parts to match in color. So if i can get some help that would be greatly appreciated.

Well, set a budget. Consider whether you want an AMD or Intel processor. AMD or Nvidia GPU. How demanding of games do you want to play. What kind of video editing. 16 gbs are good for video editing and rendering. Please give more info, and I'll get back to you.

open up a new thread in the right forums by going to forums and scrolling to builds and planning then set budget and list exactly what you are going to do with it then we can help

here are some pretty good builds. if you really want to edit though, i would change the cpu to a 4790k

If you really want processing power, purchase an Intel 5820k. It's a 6-core, which should be plenty of power. You could even bump down to a 4770k, but I don't know your budget. For the color though, that depends a great deal of what kind of gpu you purchase. I prefer Nvidia. If you buy an Asus, plan on red; MSI and reference (Nvidia), plan on green; Gigabyte and Galax, plan on blue; EVGA goes with anything.
