Well I have just purchased my new GTX 960 G1 gaming edition 2gb gddr5 by Gigabyte because im on a budget and was wondering since I want to play GTA V and BF4 and Far Cry, if I add a second card such as the EVGA GTX 970 SSC 4gb gddr5 will they both work together or will I have driver errors or will they simply just not work together? Im new to this so it might be a simple question but I want good answers so I came here.

So I would just be better off just using the EVGA 970 and kick out the 960? and thanks for the info.

Yes, always try to get the best single GPU that you can afford. SLI can be good, but some games don't benefit as much from it. And there are typically less problems with using only 1 graphics card.
