Any way I can control a Windows Phone from my PC (or another phone)

Tacitus

It's coming to the end of term, and my flatmate and I are planning on playing a little trick on our third flatmate. He's an extremely light sleeper, and can't get to sleep with noise going on around the place, and in the past we've had noisy neighbours, he got enraged and punched a fairly small hole in his ceiling.

I want to use my old phone (Nokia Lumia 920) packed full of dance music to trick him. I'm going to put the phone into the hole in his ceiling, not too noisy so he can tell it's coming from there, and play music after the end of exams.

Is there any way I can somehow trigger the music from outwith the room to save on battery life by hiding it there hours and hours before playing music already?

Cheers

Chris

This is what I found after doing a little google. Don't have a nokia to test, but let me know how this turns out. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/mobile/support/product/lumia900/userguidance/?action=singleTopic&topic=GUID-C6DC29E2-D3A2-40E2-8E9B-4E75D52C924E

Looks more like an app for keeping the two in sync rather than controlling one with the other, but I'll give it a go!

Cheers, I'll take a look at these if the former doesn't work out. Fingers crossed he doesn't smash these up as it'd be tempting to return them then spend the cash on food or beer!

If he uses spotify, spotify connect lets your play music through any device running spotify. I usually use it to control spotify from my phone but you can also make it play music through your phone.

I'll look into this, ty.

You will be able to do this from Windows 10. I'm looking forward to this.

Well I need to do it in the next month or so so that's no good sadly. Ty though.
