Price is one thing.

SLI is a little fiddly.

3.5 GB of ram.

I don't know what else. I kind of don't like the smaller memory bus though. That's kind of dumb.

Price which is why I love the 970..

 

I would say 3.5GB VRAM but people don't seem to understand Nvidia planned it through perfectly and you rarely need anything more than 3.5GB like the 780 or 780TI.
