Problems with ALL THE LINUX

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

So, I was going to install elementary OS then I found out that my laptop's drive is formatted in such a way that makes it basically impossible to store more than one OS on it...

So sorry all, not going to be able to solve that.

I have a touchscreen laptop, a Lenovo S210 Touch, that I want to install either elementary OS or Ubuntu 15.04 on. Only problem - whenever I try to install either I need to plug in a USB keyboard and USB mouse to get it working as the only input allowed seems to be the touchscreen, therefor making it impossible to enter info about me, my WiFi password, etc.

Any way to solve this? Thanks.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

It's the setup m8. How does one install drivers during setup?

with the keyboard and once in it gives options to install generic drivers

Try using an USB Keyboard and Mouse to install it and then try installing a more recent kernel :)

I know most distros support secure boot. that is basically the only thing that would stop you. I am also pretty sure that elementary OS supports Secure Boot. Can't speak about GRUB however, so it might be better to use the windows boot manager.
