Which one is better for gaming?

And any sites where i can purchase productkeys for cheap and fast?

I like 8.1. Just download a start menu and you'll be fine (I personally hate the metro). I don't understand the hate behind W8.1. Either way you'll get W10 for free.

8.1 is the better OS for gaming as you could get a few extra FPS compared with win 7, either way you will be upgrading to win 10 sometime this year as Direct X 12 will improve gaming even more.

There is no real difference (when talking about gaming systems that is, low end HW will always favor the depreciated older tech). Windows 8/8.1 on average has higher min FPS, about the same average and slightly lower max fps.

so it all comes down to personal preference/what you already have the licence for.
