Troubleshooting bottleneck in pc.

Hey you folks at LTT community, first time over here and was wondering how to look for the bottleneck in a PC.
Yeah i know different tasks use different "power" from components, but i would like a all in one "diagnostic" benchmark software.
If i need to explain more please hit me up in the comment section.

The Main concern with the term bottleneck.... dropped GPU usage while gaming.... usually happens with a lower than capable CPU not being able to feed instructions to all hardware to ensure effecient use. FYI - cos ppl may tell you differently....The CPU does NOT have to be at 100% to be bottlenecking a GPU in games...

 

GPU usage in games should be 97-100% Usage, to ensure effeciency and performance is at the top level it can manage.

Try some benchmarks out there like 3D Mark. Monitor your GPU and CPU usage. See if they're below %100 under full load. That should give you the answer. The most common issue is thermal throttling which makes the processors work with lower clocks to drop the temps to reasonable levels.

 

Edit: @SkilledRebuilds is right. I meant the GPU usage should be %100 on full load, CPU usage may or may not be.

Okay thank so much, i will try that out.

And i believe my GPU is at almost full load in games (and 3D fire strike) when something heavy happens.
