Hi, is there a way to lower my fan speed at idle on my GPU's?

It doesn't go any lower than 39% on evga precision x, wondering if there is a way around that, so I can further silence my build :3 at least until I watercool sometime soon

Try Afterburner, you can set custom fan curves.

Edit: I have mine set to idle at 10% fan speed so it at least works for me :P

Msi Afterburner is awesome. Even after overclocking a HIS 7850, I can get the fan to turn off whenever not playing a heavy game and the temps are still quite low.

The fan speed goes to 30% when in Furmark.

This is probably because it's in a NZXT Tempest 210.

Mmmmm.

Like I said I have mine set at idle to be around 10% fan (almost silent) and as the temperature ramps up to I think 60c the fans then go up to about 40% and continue to keep it cool :D

I can set a custom fan curve with evga precision x too but it won't let me go lower than 40% :(

Yep just Afterburner will allow you to go down to 10%

It must be a lock on your card then?

Since I know that all my cards will go down to 10% :/

I'm guessing it's the 780s in your sig??

because if there are enough people with the same problem i'm sure someones already found the issue and made a workaround...
