So like a month ago I decided to put Windows 8 on my gaming rig. I installed all the drivers and everything, no problems whatsoever. One day, while I was playing Counter-Strike I noticed that my audio channels are actually inverted... The sound, which is supposed to come from the right side is coming from the left and the other way around. I immediately searched for a solution in google.com, but without any results. Tried to find an option to invert the channels in the Realtec audio software, but there was none. Bear in mind that I'm using the onboard audio on my ASUS Rampage IV Gene and I have connected a 3,5mm jack splitter at the back, because I have two audio devices connected at the same time - headset (Cyborg FREQ 5) and a 2.1 speaker setup. I was able to swap the position of my speakers so that the sound would come from the right direction, but that is not possible with the headset. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

Nope, no problem with the audio hardware when used on other computers. The thing is that before with Windows 7 I never noticed this problems, which for some reason makes me think that there is something wrong with my copy of Windows 8, however I don't know if it's possible to be a Windows problem. I contacted Microsoft support and they assured me that this cannot be caused by the Windows itself...
