Hi... I have a ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z M/B with a AMD FX 8350 and want to buy 32GB 2400MHZ quad channel memory kit..!! The Qualified Venders List of the M/B, lists only

G.SKILL F3-19200CL10Q-32GBZHD 32GB (4X8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200 2400MHZ RIPJAWSZ QUAD CHANNEL KIT but I would LOVE , if it would be possible to buy a 32 GB CORSAIR 2400MHZ DOMINATOR PLATINUM QUAD CHANNEL KIT since it's more aesthetically pleasing and I believe better quality , but I don't know if ,it would be compatible with my M/B..?

Any comment or opinion.. vey much welcome..

Should work fine, It might just mean that Asus have never tested that memory kit on that board so they will not confirm that it is compatible

Asus Maximus VI Extreme, I7 4770K, NZXT Kraken X60, Kingston HyperXBeast DDR-3 2400, Sapphire 6950, NZXT Phantom 820, SanDisk 120Gb Extreme x2 in Raid, 2Tb WD Green, SeaSonic X-850 Gold

I don't think the AM3+ platform supports Quad Channel, only Dual. With Quad channel you mean 4 RAM sticks or the way they are going to work? Quad channel is supported only on the X79(LGA2011) Intel Chipset and not on the FX990(AM3+) AMD Chipset.

I would recommend going with any Corsair or Kingston RAM, preferably the Vengeance from Corsair or the HyperX from Kingston.

Hope it helped!

You can still use quad channel RAM, it will just run in dual channel mode.
