Do Win+P 2 times, on the black screen. Wait several second. If that doesn't work, do it again.

If that doesn't work, go in the UEFI/BIOS and make sure that the onboard graphics is disabled, if you have one, and that your GeForce GTX 970 is set to boot from first (if you have an option to specify that). Due to the native of different manufactures and BIOS/UEFI's you need to consult your motherboard manual if you need assistance. Sadly, I can't help you. But navigate through it, you should find some option.

If you can't find any options, shutdown your system, remove the graphics card, plug your monitor to the onboard graphics, start the system, open Device Manager, disable the Intel integrated graphics, shutdown your system, put your GeForce back, connect your monitor to it, start it, and you should be good.
