Is there a way for me to use my pc as a "done control station"? Fly out first person, long range, from my desk?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

if you mean pc instead of sep the answer is yes and no you can control it from your pc but as far as i know you cant do fpv on the pc

and if you could you would have bad signal due to being inside

Dang autocorrect. Yup, PC. What if I ran an antenna outside? Also, why no fpv?

that could work

what i meant is there is no application that intergates fpv with autopilot

fpv recievers use the rca plugs so if you find a rca to usb that could work or connect it directly to a screen and use the computer on a seperate screen

and also what quadcopter or rc plane will you be using

currently theoretical. If I ever decide to do it, I will make sure to pick one that meets my needs.

I mean if you ran the antenna outside and stuff I don't see why you couldn't plug the input into your monitor if you have an extra input and then use some sort of transmitter setup similarly with an extended antenna outside. But I don't know if there's signal degradation from extention cords.

the stations that USA use to fly are full blown rooms to fly the UAV's

you are going to need to get some wireless gear and a big booster aerial - the good UAV's run on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz and I would not be running pc gear but actual radio gear because as @Tygron said the power wont be in it to get any range.

looking at DJI it looks like they might do it

Its all about those volumetric clouds
