problems creating linux usb.

I'm trying to create an installation USB for Ubuntu, however I keep on seeing this dialog box. I've tried 14.04 LTS and 15.04.

The USB is being recognized by Windows so I don't know what's going on. Does anyone know what's happening? Bpost-155575-0-51262100-1430021541_thumb.ecause I think its the reason behind my troubles installing Ubuntu at all on my i5 rig.

I would use Rufus instead:

http://rufus.akeo.ie/

Maybe it is due to the utility you are trying to use to make a bootable flash drive?

I've actually got that for creating  my Win 7 boot usb, I'll try it.
