Hi guys I plan to make a new pc and here are my specs:

CPU:Intel I5 4590

Mobo:Asus B85 Pro Gamer

RAM:Crucial Balistix Sport 8gb

GPU: MSI GTX 960 2gb

HDD: 2TB Wester Digital Caviar Green

SSD: Intel Series 530 120GB

PSU: Corsair VS 650

Chassis: NZXTH230

Will these be good enough for a gaming rig???

Thanks again

If I'm not mistaken i5-4590 is Haswell Refresh, you need BIOS Update for motherboard to make it compatible with your CPU, you might want to get H97 instead. Besides that, I think it's solid, if you can spend more you can get R9 280X for the GPU instead.

hey u might want to remove ssd and buy a z97 mobo and intel i5 k series cpu

It "can" help, but for gaming the fps increase is not much. If you want more fps boost then getting better GPU is more important (but CPU is also important to avoid bottleneck).

u can always do a small compromise and turn down the resolution or settings

but a 960 can almost reach max settings so dont see the reason to get a 970 such a low budget

What is your total budget and where do you live?

I'd get a better motherboard and you can surely get away with less watage PSU.

Get a good H97 board instead of this. It might save you a lot of trouble.
