I need help

AndriFannar

Hi,

I need help with opening a .lqr file. I am trying to find the music from a game and the only music is "Music.lqr". I have searched the internet for answers but I cant find any. Can anyone help me?

P.S. The game's name is War of the Ring from Liquid Entertainment.

try renaming the file extension (.lqr) to something like .mp3 and then open it

make sure to turn it back to .iqr when you are done

LQR files are archives (like zip or rar) made using the Squeez algorithm if I'm not mistaken. 7-Zip might be able to open it or you'd have to find a compression app that can... That said 22 KB is not enough to contain any actual music... It's probably just an XML file or something inside that tells the game where the actual music is inside one of the larger asset files.

That said... a quick Google search turns up all of the music which someone has already scraped from the game files here: http://www.protoman.com/Music/Music/Lord%20of%20the%20Rings%20-%20War%20of%20the%20Ring/
