Currently I am using a program called Firewall builder  (Google firewall builder and download from sourceforge) a great little program it would seem, But i honestly cannot figure the little bugger out. I am looking for a firewall to protect a server that runs from a cisco 1841, and looking for a firewall to protect some windows XP computers for a school network project. What settings should i use?

Bassed on what you have said i would chose:

Cisco Router IOS ACL

then

Cisco IOS

Name it what you like. but i would call it what the router is called  IE RTR-01  etc.

I chose this because your using a cisco 1841 ISR and so would support ACLs.  All this program does is it interfaces with the router and i asume writes the config for you so you dont have to know the commands.  What you should realy be doing it writing the ACL your self on the cisco router so you get to learn it.

Also if your looking for a proper firewall as im guessing thats what your trying to do here,  have a look at something like  IPfire  www.ipfire.org  It has some cool stuff including things like IPS.

before any one burns me im not suggesting ACL's are not proper.... :)
