I know I have been double posting, posting in school, and not fully following my posts, etc. The reason for this is my dad is skeptical on getting a computer and I am trying to do this to the best of my ability and have the best computer for what I am trying to do with my life, which of you guys have ever seen one of my posts is Youtube commentary amd gaming, after my dad saw the numerous posts I made regarding the construction of this pc I have been allowed to increase the budget to around 2800 USD for everything (peripherals, 2-3 monitors(one being 1440p ips), mouse, keyboard, mic, headset, camera, and the computer itself) So basically what I'm saying here is this is the 2nd to last post I'm going to make here before actually being able to order.

I wouldn't invest this much on a channel unless you NEED the upgrade

im not the best at builds but i dont think you need a PSU with 850watts something around 600 sounds a bit better

The additional cost of x99 chips and motherboards really won't net you much performance. Your dollar would be better spend on a i7-4790k and Z97 motherboard. You also have a expensive WD Black drive that doesn't net much improvement either., I changed it for the popular Seagate Barracuda. I used the money to include the R9 295x2 (much better performance than a 980) and everything else you wanted, still under budget. Much better performance than your base build.

Are we talking about Adobe After Effects type rendering? CUDA really only accelerates ray tracing, everything else mainly renders on the CPU I believe. Maybe someone with more experience on this area can chime in on that. If you really needed CUDA switch back to the 980 and save some money for a 2nd one down the road when the price drops.
