Has anyone personally bought anything from G2A before? If so, how was the experience? I've heard mixed things about G2A until I watched a video explaing the reason for their too good to be true prices, bulk. But I'm not completely sold on the idea until I hear some real testimonies from the community.

Known way to many people who had keys for all kinds of shit revoked that were bought from G2A. buy at your own risk. Lot's of people in this forum have bought from them and things were cool and some got fucked. if you are willing to risk it for a few bucks by all means go for it.

what? I almost only buy games from there. I Get my xbox live from there for half cost. I buy bulk games for my friends for cheap. out of 30-40 purchases, the only one that had issues was my brothers GTA 4, was out 8$. nothing compared to how much I saved over the time of using the website.

I honestly browse it more then steam tbh.

Did you go with the G2A shield when you made those purchases? Oops message intended to the wrong person.

Consider it like Ebay. Can someone there rip you off? Certainly! Are there many people there that won't? Of course.

The site itself is very trustworthy, you just have to make sure the person you are buying from has some positive credit to their name. Just like any other site. I bought two games from the place, haven't had an issue. I also bought a game from g2play and haven't had any issues.

in case you didn't know

G2A is not a store (or digital store)

it just market place for random people selling their digital stuff, the risk is higher, and competition is tight.

steam has region distribution for the games, so read the region carefully, buy stuff that can be activated in your country/area.

Live chat support was horrible. They told me I would get a refund for G2A Shield after canceling then left the chat without saying anything else and no refund came in weeks. Live chat is pretty much useless. It feels like just FAQs being told to you by a live chat rep. I bought sub $1 games worked. Bought $15 game I think it was and my friend bought $10 game I think it was too and both of us had troubles. His redeem link was incomplete had to submit a ticket. My redeem code was already used had to get a refund that took a week to sort out.

All in all. Too much of a hassle for me. I'd rather buy from SteamGifts (traders) or from a reputable retailer.

I've had very good luck. I've purchased three Windows 8.1 keys, and only one wouldn't activate. But I had purchased G2A's Shield protection, and the seller just sent me a new key one day later that worked just fine.

Use common sense. I definitely don't recommend buying brand new games from them. If the game is six months or older, I'd say you won't have any issues. Just my two cents.
