Corsair sleeved cables

Special K

Hi,

I've got a seasonic 1050w psu. But the cables suck (aesthetically).

To save me actually sleeving my current cables, Could I buy corsair sleeved cables for my seasonic psu?

I keep hearing that you shouldn't use them unless you have a corsair psu. Im pretty sure seasonic make a few power supplies for other companies.

I've been told of horror stories of the cables actually melting??

There just cables, I always thought all cables were a 'standard design' and spec?

I obviously don't want to risk melting my modular cables to the psu or the motherboard.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Spare no detail :P

Thanks.

I mean probably, but I wouldn't completely advise it. (I have 0 idea but that sounds like a bad idea)

I would look around and see if you can find something like this. http://www.moddiy.com/products/Seasonic-Single-Sleeved-Power-Supply-Modular-Cables-Full-Set-%252d-Black-%7B47%7D-UV-Blue.html
