If you think these companies exist for any other reason you're gonna be disappointed my dear. CAVEAT EMPTOR"

Giving up smoking, etc. Getting teetotal, etc. (I think it's been about 15 years and I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to go back to my old "lifestyle")

Getting part way through my degree course (even though I couldn't complete it due to health issues).

Getting away from and out of a social situation that would have probably seen me killed or imprisoned, most likely in a psychiatric hospital; and then subsequently making the right decision (for me) to get away from all of that stuff, even if it does largely mean living as a shut-in with no friends, no money and no prospects.

Learning enough about Sociology, Psychology, Neurology, human behaviour etc. (and myself) to be able to truly understand both objectively and subjectively what "sane" really means, and how to cope with a complex depression, a broken life and a shattered personality in, really and truly, an insane world and one who's inhabitants are conditioned to believe someone such as myself is basically crazy; and in that contemporary social sense I am...crazy (I'm a mad person (regardless of how sane I actually am.) I don't have my certificate (from "the man behind the curtain" to whom we should pay no attention) to tell me otherwise). I used to joke with my therapist and say "Hey...I'm insane, I'm not crazy, right?" but now, I think the inverse of that in both a social and psychological sense is actually much more accurate.

Edit: Finally getting enough clarity of vision to separate out what can and can't be separated from my psychosis (and there is a large part that will probably never be separate (b4...ik: Freud)) but then that was a big part of what happened long before it actually did happen, because it was already in me (I know...confusing.) re. why I want to do what I want to do and having the confidence to just do what I love doing regardless (I'm straight (or at least I have a p***s and am heterosexual, if not completely masculine in terms of gender) and I like dance, and those things shouldn't be mutually exclusive. The only reason straight guys don't dance is because of the labeling/conditioning (I know: snore), that's the only reason (admittedly looking at it broadly (b4 yeah, I know, Freud..."looking at it broadly" X0D )). Obviously there are other factors but largely, for the most part...
