960 will be fine

But why did you spend so much on a CPU and not a GPU?

Hi guys

I just built a pc and planning to get a graphics card.

Here are the specs:

Cpu: i7 4790k

Motherboard: Msi Z97i AC

Ram: HyperX 16GB DDR3 2400MHz (8GBx2)

Power Supply: ANTEC NE400C-BR NeoEco 400W 80Plus Bronze

Case: jonsbo v3+ (Mini ITX)

[EDIT](Forgot the ssd)SSD: Samsung 850pro 256gb

Here are the two options of graphics card:

Gtx 750Ti

or

Gtx 960

The problem is, I have a 400w psu and I don't want to spend extra money to buy a new one. Is a 400w psu powerful enough to push the 960? Even if it can, will it cause any damage to the psu?

Many thanks

snip

Between the two, the 960 will be the best and yes, can be run by your PSU.

If I may ask, why didnt you go with an i5 or a Xeon instead of the i7?

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Why the hell is that the rest of your system and you want to get a 750 Ti or 960? You know what, I don't even want to know why. Total system draw should be just over 200 Watts under full load, you don't have to worry.
