The Sub-60 Frames Per Second G-Sync Experience

At what Framerate can you tell that you aren't running at 60 Frames Per Second without a Counter assuming theres no really sharp dip in FPS.

I ask this because Linus said 45-50 felt like 60. I'm wondering if anyone can actually tell.

Depends on the game, and how consistent the framerate is - gsync should stop you noticing drops, and even if you are getting 40-50 FPS you should still feel a smooth experience because the monitor is drawing the frames correctly

I kinda can tell it immediately. Somethings seems off when it's below 60. And it's pretty annoying. But there's a noticeable difference as well between 80 and 100 or above. Especially when you're driving in a game such as GTA.

You know, it's kind of weird. It doesn't stutter, so it's not super obvious. But, I can tell its not running above 60. I usually realize it around 40-45. Its just not that bad. 50-60, I cant really tell the difference if I'm focused on playing the game. I think its worth it though.

it still works and looks fine. I'm not the best to ask as I can't really tell the difference between 40 and 60fps lol its why I went 4k g sync instead of high refresh
