First of all , what do you want to run at what settings in 1080P since you have a 1080P monitor . 

If you don't mind a lower than 60 framerate then you can get a cheaper card .

Definitely worth waiting a bit and saving up for it if you can IMO, as you'll thank yourself for making the larger jump up compared to going with the 260x. Or go for the r9 270 and OC it.
