Android 5.1 Update on Nexus 4

plutomok

Thought it was a good time to get some clarification.
Does the "Backup" feature in Lollipop work at all?

I had to reformat my phone twice, and both times I had this feature enabled but it didn't backup anything....

I had to restore my phone from scratch, aside from logging into my gmail to retrieve my contacts.

Will updating to 5.1 from 5.0 wipe all my data again?

Usually an OTA update doesn't wipe any data except something goes wrong and your device soft bricks.

OTA Updates don't wipe your device.
