Two 390x Power Consumption?

But I'm getting a new case a PSU now and then two 390s when they're released, and I don't know what would suffice. I was thinking 1200w?

1000W should do just fine, but it depends on your current processor and other specs.

My educated guess based upon the leaks and speculation is 800W+ for dual R9 390Xes with an LGA 1150-based system, dual SSDs, a HDD, AIO, etc.

It's also completely reliant on what he does, if he plans on getting overbuilt 390x's like the Lightnings or matrix, overclocking & overvolting them could easily get them above 350watts each.

 

Obviously if he plans to run stock, or even medium OC's, then anything under 1k/w will be fine.

Which is more then possible but also it could become as power efficient as maxwell is. So you won't have any answer till the official announcement about the R9 300 series cards.

I doubt that's possible, I'm sure they would have already starting hyping it. Though they all seem to lack the intelligence of hype besides "accidentally" releasing benchmarks.

As I have ALREADY said, with it being a new architecture from AMD, not a single person besides AMD and their Board partners know how it will be.
