So for my first build i am going to buy a pentium G3258 but i was wondering, what new hot games am i going to be able to play with it ?

By the way i love battlefield games

So long as your GPU is strong enough, your CPU doesn't make a HUGE difference (unless your game does not allow dual core CPU's HEM HEM CRYSIS), so long as it is not bottlenecking the GPU

I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

I wouldn't. I'd save up a little longer and get a better CPU, perhaps save some money by getting a locked one and a cheaper motherboard?

Huh...

I'm facing a similar situation on a budget of £350. I will be rocking a second hand 280x with the pentium g3258 accompanied by 8 gigs of ram.

How do you think I would get on on a 1024p monitor?

You'll be fine even on high-ultra

That's only single player though, I fear those numbers will be lower on 64 player server. Still quite impressive though. I do understand that you cannot get a perfectly repeatable benchmark on such a dynamic setting as 64-Man BF4, but most people will be playing multiplayer.

Intel Core i7-5820K (4.4 GHz) | Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB  | 2x 360mm Custom Loop (Noctua iPPC) | ASRock X99 Extreme6 | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB | Fractal Design Define S | Corsair HX750 | Windows 10 | Corsair M65 RGB PRO | Corsair K70 RGB LUX (CherryMX Brown) | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro & Creative Sound Blaster Z | Nexus 6P (32GB Aluminium) | Check out my setup: Project Kalte Here!

True, I'll say you could expect -10 fps and high CPU loads?
