Recently, sort of, got a new CPU+Mobo (4690k+ EVGA z97 FTW). The last I had was a 2500k and p67, so Im not quite familiar with these UEFI bios.

Heres what my BIOS/settings look like http://imgur.com/a/MHeRx

My Overclock is not staying/saving. When It boots into windows, I check CPUID, and its jumping between 3.7 and 3.9 cuz of the turbo, but it never shows as 4.2. The reason it says 3.5 at the top is because I tried turning EIST off. Clearly didnt work.

I have had it actually say 4.2 in CPUID sometimes, meaning it DID work a couple times. Usually I had to go into the bios and just hit save and reset and then when it boot into Windows, it worked. But now when I boot into the bios, the settings are saved, but the OC just doesnt work. I cant get it to actually OC.

I have no idea whats happening. Anyone know?

I just went back into my BIOs to turn turbo back on because turning it off didnt work, it just locked it at 3500. After doing that and booting back into Windows, it now shows it at 4195(4.2). So its working now. This happens sometimes. I boot into bios, do nothing, save and reset, and it works. Not all the time but sometimes

This is what confuses the hell out of me.
