Hello there people.

So,I am doing a new build, going to use a AMD FX X8 8350 as a proc and I was wondering what to choose between an nVidia Strix GTX 750Ti versus a AMD Radeon R9 270 OC Dual X.

The thing is that the R9 has 256 bit bus memory ,while the GTX 750 has only 128.

I got like 4-5 days to decide, so I guess I will be getting a lot of answers in here (I hope so actually ).

270.

Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

The R9 270. You do need 1 6 [in connector for it though, IIRC

Are you gaming only (or primarily)? If so, I wouldn't really recommend that CPU. You're most likely better off with an i5 CPU.

R9 270. It's simply a more powerful card.

Mainly I am doing gaming but I am also doing programming.

I have a FX 8350 right now in my rig (Which I am selling soon) and I am more than happy with it,although, what i5 proc would you recommend?

The thing is that proc wise, the price between an i5 and an FX 8350 is not big and I am willing to buy one BUT, as far as I have seen on benchmarks and tests over youtube, it beats the i7 3770k and i7 3790k ,which are not far from i7 4770k and i7 4790k ,so I figurred it would be better than an i5 that I can afford ,which would be the i5 4460.Perhaps IF I will cut some money from the video card, I can get an i5 4590, but is it worth?

As about the video card choice, thanks for the answers guys,I am clear on that!

The 4th gen i5 CPU's beat the FX 8350 in gaming. In rendering the FX is probably better, but not in gaming.

Here are some benchmarks:

NSzSIka.png

These 2 benchmarks really show it. That i5 CPU is slightly lower end than the i5 4690, but still beat these 2 FX CPU's in gaming.

That is because games just highly focus on per core performance, rather than more cores.

Are you sure the benchmarks you saw were gaming benchmarks and not something else?

Anyways, I think the i5 4460 is a good midway, since you will have good CPU performance and also a great GPU (And you have an upgrade path with your CPU)

I'll consider it mainly because the mobo might be too expensive ,but yea,I ll check out a few mobos and decide.Got a few days left so...it's all good.

Thanks for the informatiion!
