Is the SAPPHIRE R7 260x 2GB DDR5 better than the MSI GT740 2GB DDR5 ?

 

The 260x is better.

Don't buy a GTX 980, it's overpriced! Buy 2 GTX 970s or 2 R9 290s intstead (the R9 290s would even be cheaper)

The most simple comparison would be GPUBoss.com, gives you a brief compaision, not precise but would do the job.

Absolutely.. a LOT better in fact because it is still better than GTX 750.

I used GPU boss few times but... there is a lot of missinformation for people who dont know better.
