first time installing linux

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

Downloaded a different version of ubuntu. appears to be functional now

Well alrighty then!

I am trying to install Ubuntu (latest version) on my VMware workstation. This is my first time doing this. I get this error message. I think the issue is that i did not download the complete file (ran into a similar issue when trying to do windows 10 dual boot). What is the correct download size for the 64 bit ubuntu 14.10? Mine says 1,135,680kb in windows

thanks

You need to insert the ISO as an IDE drive within Virtualbox.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Ugh, I don't have VM on me now. I'll be right back.
