Schiit Modi 2 if you're gonna do the amp+DAC setup, what amp do you currently have?

 

If you don't have one, then I'd say to go with the FiiO E10K, it's killer and it's cheap.

As SSL said above, don't buy anything. It's a waste of money (your mobo is fine)

 

If you want better sound, sell your M50s and use the dac money to upgrade
