Prebuilt Configurations

great start. If you do make some real money, make sure you redo your w2's, the more "legit" this gets the more you should cover yourself, where you are building is it zoned for what you are doing, look up osha guidelines if you haven't. None of this should mater now, just keep it floating around.

I have looked into it. Bonding is not required, I am insured and have a business licence for my property and business. I have done W2s before as I am a partner in another successful business.

If I ever started a business, I would already have a lawyer, we've got a family lawyer :P

Except for a serious lawsuit you are going to need rmore than one D:

don't use family per say, conflict of interest. They can offer you advice.

@ @thekeemo Given that you stated that this is just to establish whether these are good value or not, I have removed the branding from the title and OP of the thread because having it there could very easily be misinterpreted as advertising, and we don't want advertising on here.

Feel free to change the title again to better suit the thread if you want to (though not back to your brand name).

We are only buying from two deals for business reasons. I will say we are not making anywhere near 200 dollars per unit after all is said and done. Closer to $60 on a good day.

Fair enough, I wish you luck in your endeavors.

I say no Athlon. G3258 and you can put a super simple 4.0 ghz stock voltage oc on it. The CPUs on the 2 bigger builds are a little more than they should be for just gaming

The unit I chose BTW has a Seasonic S12II platform. With MIR, you're paying $240 less. I know who you're marketing towards, but there are prebuilders that have deals just as bad as yours or better. You can even get the price down more by removing the unnecessary CPU cooler and making other adjustments. I'd suggest you play with the prices more instead of looking to make $200+ on every mid-end system you sell. IIRC, Micro Center and NCIX will even put together PCs for less.

Couple things I'd like to mention as to why I had them in that build:

The case we used is much better, at least IMO.

Using more than 1 DIMM of RAM gives a marginal performance benefit and has other benefits, mainly in case of failure we have one other stick to get the system working.

The Arctic Freezer 7 is better than the Intel stock cooler and in a case with a window, a little bit better of an appearance can go a long way.

That PSU may be great with a MIR but we're going for consistency in pricing - already hard enough - and made harder with MIRs.

We're buying all of our stuff from Amazon and Newegg. Lots of stuff will simply cost more when doing that.

Hope this explains a lot about our build.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Thanks for your input. I cannot overclock it because it can add problems. Not worth the problems that come with it. When doing builds on your own G3258 is the way to go. Not for pre-builts.

Thanks, I appreciate the explanation. Like I said to Philosophy, good luck! :)

Overclocking can cause issues on occasion. Say the buyer resets the CMOS battery in some way or resets the BIOS. That can cause some *slightly less intelligent* people to become upset when, all of the sudden, their PC performs much worse than before. Overclocking can also lead to random hardware failures. Just would like to avoid overclocking altogether, hence why we have a locked i7 on the Tiny Titan.

No problem man! Also, would still like to meet ya on Ventrilo sometime in the future :P I'll be a bit busy today but I'll get around to it eventually.

EDIT: Also, regarding the case, the one we chose for that particular build was an S340. Didn't see that @ didn't list the cases :P

We are doing totally custom cases though so he might have thought of that, I do not know.

Articulating: express (an idea or feeling) fluently and coherently.

I think I've spent too much time in Drama xD Articulators are things to improve the connection and muscle memory between your teeth, tongue and lips.
