Hello!, Now I know that you all can't even anyymore with GTA V posts, but help one last person please. I find it hard to maintain a stable 30 fps (especially when driving) in the game, and I have everything turned down to "high" (normal) settings. The game crashes often.

Is this because of my slight overclock on my 290? my 8 gigs of ram? what? please help! THANKS.

EDIT- 400 post!

Its a Gamewrecks title. Also AMD released a beta driver with optimisation and crossfire profile for GTA V. Try that driver if you haven't already.

My 290 is working fine. It doesn't seem like a Gameworks title either. Only Nvidia things are FXAA and that one other soft shadow setting that has an AMD and Nvidia version.

Oh wow that isn't right at all. With an FX-6300 and 70% of a 970 I get better FPS than that :( Try resetting graphics settings, then disabling Vsync. Highest RAM usage I saw ingame was 6gb for me
