Ok hey guys 1 question i need help in deciding what PSU i should use/buy atm I've chosen the 750 Watt EVGA SuperNOVA G1 Modular 80+ Gold but isnt that a little to much for a Gigabyte 970 G1 gaming and a I5 4690K (OC'ed) thanks 4 replies in advance my build :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8Rtp4D

One way to look at getting the EVGA 750 is it would be one less thing you would need to get if you would ever in the near future say you want a new GPU,CPU,Ram even a new Mobo,you would be all set when that day would come..

My opinion if you can afford the EVGA 750 I would go ahead and buy it,you will be very happy in the end if you would happen to do any future upgrades and it would be one less thing you would need to buy.....

A 750W power supply will give you room to add a second GTX 970 in the future for SLI. However as it stands you really only need 550W

 

However the 750 G2 is the one that you want. Don't get the G1.
