First of all, not where and how to post a build :)

You will definitely be able to do what your wanting, but I would put in a slightly higher wattage PSU for good measure

Other than that its pretty solid, you can get into 1440p ground with that setup

-SNIP-

For that setup you have I would suggest something of a slightly larger PSU especially if you plan to overclock the 970 GPU, right now you on basically the required minimum I personally like to have max capacity at around 80-90% the max capacity of the PSU.

I'm particularly not comfortable seeing a 360w PSU for a i5+970 build. I'd make that 460w minimum, 500-550w recommended.

Honestly I'm not that fond of ASUS boards, but that board does seem a bit too cheap. I'd try to spring for a Z97 chipset motherboard if I were you.

But this is all entirely on your budget and where you live. If you just want your question answered, yes you should be able to get 1080p60fps with ease while recording.

Soo, this is acctually not bad, but i would upgrade the Mainboard, and the RAM [to 16 GB]

If you want to record, dont do it with Nvidia Shadowplay, use more likley Fraps, Overwolf or an external recorder, somthing lika a capture card,

I dont like the case, but i guess thats your choice :) otherwise i would add a more powerful PSU somthing like 650W will be fine :)

Hope i could help you

Yes B85 will be good too, but i was asking to buy H97 for future proofing

Although if u buy B85 go for Asus or gigabyte as they will provide Pcie 3.0 intead of 2.0(better for your gpu) and they will provide extra usb 3.0 ports.

For SSD they are meant for boosting up the speed whether for os or whatever, so if u r out of budget u can buy an hdd and consider the ssd sometime later

It speeds up the booting by a lot, and depending on if you have games installed on it, they will also load faster.

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

let me give you can example, 12 years ago i use Pentium 3 with 500mHz or so with an IDE 40gb hdd, right now i use an i5 with 3.4gHz and 1Tb Sata Hdd and an SSD, the point is technology changes almost every week

So if u r buying and 1Tb HDD in 50$ right now, u can also get a cheap ssd in near future

So don't bother if ssd is not included in your budget

Without SSD my system takes around 5 seconds to boot up which is pretty fast i guess

My power supply now is the Cooler Master GM G550M

The Coolermaster will be ok to reuse. It is a decent (If not spectacular) unit made by Channel Well.
