Question about fan setup in H440

1Scotty1

Hello,

don't know if this is the right sub-forum, but whatever :P

Right now, as I am waiting for the arrival of my second backplate and some Aerocool DS 140mm fans to finish up my build, I have been thinking about fan setup in my H440.

Currently I have it like this: 3x Noiseblocker eLoop B12-3 in front as intake, 1x AF140 as rear exhaust and X61 on top as exhaust

And I am thinking of this (pic included):    X61 on front as intake (filtration taken care of), 1x AF140 as rear exhaust, 2x Aerocool DS 140mm on top as exhaust

Now, I want your opinion, or suggestions on my fan setup

Thanks, cheers

I think in your case, it will be negative airflow which will have more dust (something like that, personally I'm not too sure as well). Usually what I heard is to have front and top to in intake into the case and rear to exhaust to maintain the positive airflow, so that there won't be so much dust collected in it.

looks great, you always test each way it will only take a few minutes. i like having alot of intakes on top just to cool the pch and other components a little better, i would rather have the air hitting them then have the air above them being sucked away more dust, just me though.

No negative pressure?

And yeah, I want it like that also, X61 on front as intake, Aerocools on top exhausting and rear exhaust also... and sell/giveaway the 3 Noiseblocker eLoops :D

Working on that, waiting for the X61 to go back in stock. The H100i GTX isn't catching my eye as much, some reviewers have said the tubes are very stiff, also I prefer the H100i look but hey, I like to be up to date, therefore X61.
